A strong 7.7 earthquake struck Southeast Asia Friday, March 28, 2025. Thus far, Myanmar confirms over 2,700 dead, more than 4,500 injured, and an unknown number trapped under the rubble. A dam burst and there is heavy damage to roads and bridges. In Bangkok, Thailand, over 600 miles from the epicenter, the powerful quake collapsed several buildings. A 30+story building under construction collapsed, and search is ongoing for missing workers.
