We are happy to announce that further work is being carried forward in Africa by a Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) pastor, Zedekiah Mogere. Two years ago he stopped working with the SDA leadership due to their terrible apostasy and disregard of Sabbath keeping. He first heard of the For My People Ministry in September of 2015 by receiving a copy of volume 2 of the messages from a person not interested in the messages. He and his co-worker believe that the messages are an inspiration and revelations from God. Because of this, they have been sharing about this ministry with various groups (SDA and non-SDA) in Kenya, Uganda, and soon in Tanzania.
Pastor Mogere stated that many of the SDA leaders do not study the Spirit of Prophecy books by Ellen White, and therefore are not ready for reformation or sanctification. There have been calls from the SDA leadership warning him to stop spreading the messages. However, he believes in sharing without compromise and standing firm in Christ, not concerned with those who reject the messages. The messages of For My People Ministry are spreading quickly in Africa. Miracles are being witnessed, and our heavenly Father continues to send protection and success.
Pastor Mogere has shared the following:
As we entered the first of five islands (of Kenya), two strange men standing on the roadside received us by welcoming us to their island. Our response was a thank you and that we were pastors from the upper country. Then they accompanied us for a short time and shared some precautions about their island being a center for Islamic terror groups. (Hebrews 1:14 – “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”)
As we were discussing outside a supermarket, a stranger listened carefully and, attracted by our discussion, welcomed us into his relative’s home. He is a devout Muslim and retired senior army officer. They invited 15 people into this home to listen to our Bible studies. They promised a big Bible study meeting in that home after two weeks. On a Sabbath, the big meeting was held with 78 people present. There were visitors of all classes, and all kinds of dignitaries. Now a Sabbath School has been started with 23 people. Through this endeavor, God has opened the door for witnessing in Tanzania.
Tears go with our prayers as we see an area of Muslim terrorists welcoming us into their homes and listening carefully to our studies. We are witnessing God’s marvelous work and the acceptance of the Sabbath. Thanks for your ministry, your service, commitment and for uplifting God’s counsels (dreams and visions) in Africa without fear. What a wonderful and merciful God! It is time for the wise virgins to lift up the banner and blow the trumpet with a certain sound. None can silence the voice of God in His prophets. May God’s love (character) be our standard for eternity.
